Want to kick off your summer with a big ol' YEE HAW? Then head for the National Senior Pro Rodeo.

The National Senior Pro Rodeo comes to Montana in late June every year, and this year's events in Darby are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 22, 23 and 24. Contestants from the United States and Canada travel to Montana to compete in all standard rodeo events.

Slack begins at 10:00 a.m. each day and performances are on Friday and Saturday starting at 6:00 p.m. Gates open at 4:00.  Food and beverages will be available to purchase. Admission is $10 or $25 for the family each day. Kids age 10 and under are admitted free.

This year the rodeo has added rough stock events, including bull riding, saddle bronc riding and bareback bronc riding. We want to wish all the competitors best of luck, as they work to earn points for qualification at the Senior Pro Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas.

Saddle up and get to Darby this week!
