Even if your day is off to a great start, cuddle a kitten and see if doesn't go even better!

It was another magical Take Me Home Tuesday event at the radio stations, presented by Paul's Pancake Parlor here in Missoula. Soft and lovable greetings from our guests, as you might expect from such young visitors.

Allison from the Humane Society of Western Montana brought in Sally and Spidey. They are two of three siblings who just recently arrived. It is kitten season at the shelter right now, where they see a large influx of kittens, with upwards of 30 in the building not being unusual this time of year.

Sally is a little tuxedo, with cute white mustache and socks. And Spidey, who is very much on the shy side, is a gray/brown tabby. They were both very quiet and gentle, probably a little nervous for their first time on the radio. And they, like so many kittens at the shelter right now, could sure use a wonderful forever home.

The Humane Society of Western Montana receives no government funding, and rely solely on the donations of our generous community members, events and funds received through grants. And, they have a couple things coming up this weekend.

They will have a presence this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 8-10, during the Montana Professional Artists Association gathering at the Missoula Fairgrounds. This is a big art show that includes many activities, which you can check out here.

Also this Saturday, The Humane Society will be holding their annual Adoption Event at Denny Menholt University Honda, 3600 South Reserve Street, Missoula, starting at 11:00 a.m. A number of puppies and kittens will make an appearance.
