Halloween is going to be different this year, thanks to COVID. Will trick-or-treating still take place like normal in Missoula? My guess is that it probably will, but a lot of families may decide to seek alternative options for their kids, stuff that allows them to have some Halloween fun while maintaining social distancing.

And a few options have already presented themselves - Southgate Mall says they're moving forward with their Candy Crawl (with some differences), and Zootown Church is having a socially-distanced trunk-or-treat event on the 31st.

And now, you can add another one to the list: the Ranch Club in Missoula will be holding its first annual Community Fall Festival on Saturday, October 24th.

What goes into this festival? Well, for starters, there will be trick-or-treating for families with kids - there will be a trick-or-treating loop set up that families can enter, and they'll only allow one family to enter the loop every five minutes to assist with social distancing.

Plus, they'll have a bunch of other stuff too, like a caramel apple station, a pumpkin patch, a craft station, and lots of opportunities for photos. This definitely seems like a pretty fun thing that kids are gonna love.

So yes, things are different in 2020, but at least a lot of places around Missoula are stepping up and helping out where they can. If you want to find out more info about The Ranch Club's Community Fall Festival, you can check out their Facebook event page. Will you be going to this one?
