So Oktoberfest festivities are looking a little different this year - in case you haven't noticed, there's a bit of a pandemic going around - but that isn't stopping Missoula from trying to have some fun. A Taste of Oktoberfest, featuring several different venues in town doing their own, smaller-scale events, began this week. It's going to continue for the next three weeks, and this event happening over at Iron Horse seems like a pretty major part of it.

On Saturday, September 25th, Iron Horse and Bayern Brewing are teaming up for "Pigs N' Pints," and I mean, it's exactly what it sounds like. If you're looking for beer and good food, you'll want to stop by the Iron Horse parking lot between 5 PM and 9 PM. Here's some info from their Facebook event page:

Featuring the popular Bayern Pig Roast plate, prepared by Chef Todd of the Iron Horse.

Bayern beer under the tent with Juergen of Bayern Brewing and pretzels available from Edelweiss Bistro.

Germanfest steins are available for sale! Unlidded for $25 or with pewter lids for $40. Available while supplies last.
We'll have door entry swag and giveaways, a raffle entry for a Grand Prize Basket with swag from Iron Horse and Bayern Brewing!

Traditional Oktoberfest music playing in the background and festive Lebkuchen heart cookies.

And of course, they'll be following all the safety guidelines they need to, requiring customers to wears masks when they're not seated and limiting capacity. Will you be checking this out?
