A mall in Canada has launched a service to keep customers from leaving their pets locked in their vehicles while shopping.
Mic Mac Mall in Nova Scotia, Canada, now has security staff scanning the parking lots, looking for clues that a pet is locked inside a vehicle.
If they find a pet in a car, they try to contact the car owner and assess the condition of the animal.
If the situation is especially dangerous for the pet, the staff will call the police. (Huffington Post)
