Local history lovers, Missoula's only surviving electric trolley is home again after a lengthy spa treatment. Be among the first to climb on board. Help celebrate its return at a gala 100th anniversary and homecoming party on September 8th at the Fort Missoula Historical Museum. This streetcar was part of the Missoula Street Railway Company, which served Missoulians from 1910 to 1932. A lengthy restoration project is complete and to celebrate this particular streetcar, which began service in 1912, The Friends of the Historical Museum will be hosting the gala event, starting at 5:00 p.m. with a dedication. Official unveiling, tours of the trolley, dinner, live music and auction hosted by Mayor John Engen round out the evening. That's Saturday September 8th. Tickets are $100 per person and must be purchased in advance. Please contact Robert M. Brown at the museum, 728-2476 or ftmslamuseum@montana.com All Aboard!  Db
