A lot of TLC resulted in Larry Pays' 1937 GMC pickup getting the top award at the Bitterrodders' Daly Mansion Car Show Saturday, August 24. Over 90 cars, trucks and even a fire engine were there all day (see photo below), with car fans crowding around their favorites. Larry's rig won the Audience Favorite. The day ended with a Sock Hop featuring 50s and 60s music under the Big Tent on the Daly Mansion grounds.

The Bitterrodders are just warming up for their next event - Rumble In the Root. The poker run next Saturday, August 31, will start at KT's Hayloft in Lolo and will have "parade" traffic to each of several stops in Stevensville, Hamilton, Victor, Corvallis and Florence before returning to KT's for a barbeque at about 4 p.m. Registration of $15 per vehicle Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Hayloft.
