TMHT: Nylon at Humane Society of Western Montana a Sheer Delight
Sometimes strange surroundings like radio studios can understandably make our 4-legged friends a bit apprehensive.
While she was pretty reluctant to come out of her crate, we can assure you this is one loving, friendly feline, just a bit more mature (4 years old). And she sure could use a forever home. Like yours.
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations, sponsored by our friends at Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula. Janet from the Humane Society of Western Montana introduced us to "Nylon." She is beautiful, not too big, not too small. Nylon was found as a stray. Her stray time is up at the shelter, and we encourage you to stop by and get to know this adorable cat.
PUPPY ADOPTION EVENT SATURDAY
Starting at 11:00 am this Saturday, February 15, the Humane Society will be having a puppy adoption event, hosted by Denny Menholt University Honda, 3600 South Reserve Street. Notice there is no end time, because when the puppies are gone, they're gone! Janet says she knows the puppies' mom. She is medium to large, about 70 pounds, and she says the pups are like "little bears."
They are ready to go. They've all been neutered or spayed, vaccinated and all are healthy.
The Humane Society of Western Montana is currently getting low on food for their animals, too. Denny Menholt University Honda is one of the shelter's partners, where you can drop off your pet food donations, so if you're going to check out the puppies on Saturday, you can find it in your heart to bring pet food donations as well. Or if you prefer, the Missoula Petco at 3662 Brooks Street is also another designated drop-off location.
