Could we go to war with North Korea over a Seth Rogen movie? The dictator sure sounds serious about it.
The totalitarian regime threatened the U.S. today (Wednesday), promising a “merciless” retaliation if The Interview is releasedIn a statement, a spokesman for its Foreign Ministry called the movie "the most blatant act of terrorism and an act of war that we will never tolerate."
In the film, Seth Rogen and James Franco play a talk-show host and a producer who get an exclusive interview with Kim Jong-Un but are then drafted by the CIA to kill the supreme leader. Seth responded to the threat on Twitter, writing, "People don't usually wanna kill me for one of my movies until after they've paid 12 bucks for it. Hiyooooo!!!"
The Interview is set to hit theaters October 10th.
