If you bring a bag into Washington-Grizzly Stadium for a Griz football game, they're gonna want to see right through ya.

In the interest of enhancing existing security measures, Grizzly athletics is implementing a new policy regulating the size and type of bag that may be carried into the stadium, starting with the 2019 home opener on September 7.

The new "clear bag" policy is in line with other major collegiate sporting venues around the nation. It's intended to expedite the security process at all the gates, hopefully making it faster and easier for fans to get to their seats.

While fans are encouraged not to bring any types of bags inside Washington-Grizzly Stadium, a number of guidelines will be followed to allow certain bags:

>Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12", and have a single-snap closure in the center.

>One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags.

>Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap that do not exceed 4.5" x 6.5" (about the size of a hand).

>Seat cushions and seat cushions with a back measuring no larger than 18" x 18".

Items like large purses, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, luggage and a number more will not be permitted. You can get a lot more details on items allowed and items prohibited, plus more explanation of policies here.

Please do your best to do your part.
