Motorcycle Helmet Law? [POLL RESULTS]

Earlier this week we asked if you would support a federal law requiring motorcyclists to wear helmets.

Yes I would support this. Having been in the healthcare field, I hate the fact that whenever I see someone not wearing a helmet I automatically think of them as an organ donor. Here in the valley there have been to accidents that I can recall off the top of my head of people riding and crashing and dying when a helmet could have potentially prevented the fatality. - Heather

 

It should each persons choice if they want to wear one, That's what freedom of choice is all about. Just because you wear a helmet doesn't mean you will live through a crash, just like seat belt's "MAY" save your life NO Guarantees. It's not my riding or driving that worries me it's all the other people driving & not paying attention. I have caught many people still texting while driving & that's against the law. We don't need more laws we just need more people to use better common sense. - Richard
