If you're looking to start your own business in the future, I've got good news: you could do a lot worse for a location than Montana.

Wallet Hub just put together a new study which ranked all of the states in the US and determined which were the best and worst states to start a new business. Montana actually cracked the top 10, coming in at number 9 overall, based on factors like business environment, access to resources, and business cost. Montana also had some of the cheapest workspaces in the country, which helped their placement on the list.

Number one on the list was Texas, with Utah and Georgia not far behind. And dead last on the list? That would be Rhode Island. So if you're looking for a place to start a new dream business, you're much better off sticking around Montana than traveling east.
