For the third week in a row, a Montana Grizzly standout has been Big Sky Conference Player of the Week.

One big difference? The other two award-winners are seniors. This one is only a freshman. Derrick Carter-Hollinger scored a total of 33 points, had 18 rebounds, six blocked shots and four assists in impressive wins at Eastern Washington Thursday night (90-63) and at home Monday night against Portland State (85-70).

Seniors Kendal Manuel and Sayeed Pridgett picked up the previous two weeks' honors. Congrats to Derrick for making it the first time since the 2012-2013 season that three different players from the same team have been recognized by the conference in consecutive weeks. Get excited for Number 35, Griz fans. It looks like the beginning of what could be a phenomenal career as a Montana Grizzly.
