The original Garden City Shootout 3 on 3 basketball tourney is back for 2022! Plan to be in town on June 18th and 19th to participate.

The best basketball tournament in Montana takes place at the Southgate Mall and is hosted by City Life MT. The City Life Community Center is the state of the art 34,000 square foot facility that you have likely seen on Fairview, near the Fairgrounds, kind of near Montana Club on Brooks. The space is a resource for local teens, providing programming and events for a variety of interests.

The Garden City Shootout is a tournament for Missoula youth in 2nd grade and up. They will likely include an adult tourney again considering this year's event will go for two days. The tournament raises money to support youth and family programs at City Life Community Center and teams from all over Montana come to town to test their skills and just have some fun in the sunshine.

Keep an eye on the official Garden City Shootout Facebook page for registration info and we'll let you know on-air as soon as we hear anything.

**The tournament will be taking all COVID-19 precautions recommended by the CDC and Missoula City-County Health Department.**
