Missoula Symphony Ramps Up For Exciting Spring Season Finale

The end of the 2021-2022 season for the Missoula Symphony Orchestra and Chorale is almost upon us! The symphony is set to play the season's final two shows on Saturday, April 9th and on Sunday, April 10th.

Here's a taste of what you can expect at the show, courtesy of their press release:

The concert will feature the symphony’s beloved chorale in Duruflé’s “Requiem,” and a collaboration with the Montana Flute Festival in presenting Franz Doppler’s “Concerto in D-Minor for Two Flutes.” It will also feature Gabriela Lena Frank’s “Elegía Andina,” which was influenced by Frank’s multi-cultural background and the music of her mother’s homeland, Peru.

The concert will take place at the Dennison Theatre in Missoula, and you can grab tickers right now at the Missoula Symphony's website.

You may remember back in January that the Missoula Symphony's Youth Concert had been delayed due to the surge of the Omicron variant of COVID. Well, that one's still coming up - and it'll take place on Sunday, May 1st. Tickets are available for that one too at their website.
