It's a new and exciting creepy-crawly Halloween adventure for Missoula and a fundraiser for Missoula Big Sky High School.

In partnership with the Big Sky Drama Department, our professional baseball team, the Missoula Osprey, will be holding their first-ever Nightmare at the Ball Park SPOOKTACULAR on October 18, 19, 25, 26, 30 and 31, 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. each of those nights.

For $10 a ticket, you can tour the transformed Ogren Park Allegiance Field Clubhouses and experience 10 scenes that are sure to leave you with a haunting feeling. Along with the Osprey staff, the Big Sky Drama Department will play an integral role in set design, creativity and actor participation. And through this partnership, the Missoula Osprey will donate $5,000 to the BSHS Drama Department.

Tickets are available in advance through the Osprey website and at the stadium each night the Haunted House is active. To help you better prepare, here are some things to know:

Is it scary?  Yes. It's a haunted house, so it's scary. It is recommended for teenagers and adults. Children under 12 should accompanied by adults.

Are the actors allowed to touch you?  The actors will not intentionally touch you, but they will attempt to get very close.

Are there strobe lights?  Yes, there are multiple forms of strobe and black lighting. But there are also areas throughout the mazes that are very dark.

Can you go through more than once?  You can go through as many times as you wish on the night of your ticket purchase.

What about behavior, snacks and video/audio equipment?  The touching of the actors, foul language and other other vulgar behavior will not be tolerated.  Food, drinks, lighters, bags, costumes, weapons, cameras, laser pointers and flashlights are prohibited. No video or photography of any kind will be allowed in the mazes.

Leave your phone in your pocket or purse and surrender yourself to the Nightmare at the Ballpark!
