Missoula Movie Theater Reopens After Closure

The AMC Southgate 9 is now reopened.

Last week, I went off about a less-than-ideal movie theater experience at the Roxy Theater.

Not because the Roxy or its employees did anything wrong, but instead, a rant directed at the two girls behind me who thought it was a polite move to discuss the movie WHILE THE MOVIE WAS RUNNING IN WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE A QUIET THEATER.

Now, let's get to the real story: AMC Southgate is temporarily closed

The AMC Dine-In Southgate 9 is temporarily closed, per its website. 

There weren't any other details on the theater's website.

Moviegoers on the Missoula Reddit page also realized the theater was down, and it appears an employee at the AMC Southgate location chimed in to clarify the problems. 

"Hello, it's Payten here at the AMC Southgate 9. Just wanting to answer some questions or address some concerns. So as of now, our servers are down due to unforeseen circumstances," said a Redditor by the username of Secure_Reporter.

It started as disallowing online orders, but Payten later went on to say, "We are no longer letting anyone in due to the refunds still being processed. The online tickets will no longer work, and so for the time being we are no longer allowing anyone entrance."

The latest update was early Monday afternoon.
