Missoula Lost a Sweet Lady Over the Weekend
I met Denise Donahue when I was the announcer for the Missoula Maulers, she was the lady with the big smile selling the Maulers memorabilia. Denise had a huge heart as well as smile and often spent most of her free time donating it to charities. In fact it was just a few weeks ago that she reached out to me to talk about a bake sale they were doing at the court house in Missoula. Denise worked as a Justice Court Office Manager.
She was also a big part of the team at the Garden of Read'n here in Missoula. Denise loved to read books and travel.
I could go on and on about how sweet this lady was to everyone she met, truly one of the kindest people I have ever met.
Saturday she passed away due to an embolism that developed after knee surgery last week. A very tragic event, and a lesson to us all to appreciate everyday we have.
Denise you will be missed more than you ever know and thank you for being such a bright light for everyone you connected with while you were here. Love you Denise!
