Over 200 Vendors on Hand for Missoula Holiday MADE Fair Sunday
Join the fun and the enthusiastic crowds while you support small, independent artisans during the Christmas shopping season.
The Adams Center on the University of Montana campus transforms into a Santa's workshop! A modern handcrafted market with over 200 local artists & non-profits.
The 15th annual Missoula Holiday MADE fair will include free admission, free parking, and plenty of room to shop. Make sure to visit the Adams Center balcony, arena floor, and auxiliary gymnasiums to discover all that the fair has to offer.
You'll find kitchen items, wall art, cards, books, toys, ornaments, bags, wallets, earrings, necklaces, soaps, Montana souvenirs and so much more.
The MADE fair is an artist and handcrafted market featuring local and regional artists. Their mission is to "increase awareness of handmade goods as an alternative to mass-produced items and support local and regional small craft businesses by providing a place to sell their goods, whether they be hobbyists or seasoned professionals."
The Holiday MADE Fair runs from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. this Sunday, December 11. There is no admission charge, BUT, there is a VIP Pass Offer that gives you the opportunity to beat the crowds and get a one-hour jump on the rest of the shoppers.
No doubt the long hours and hard work put in by the artists will be apparent as you browse the variety of items for sale. Make sure you visit all levels of the Adams Center. And if you have a lot of people to shop for, bring a list or get ideas from the Handmade Montana website.
Here are a couple other shopping tips for you. Most artists prefer cash, but most of them are set up to take cards as well. If you want to grab some cash, ATMS will be available in the Adams Center.
If you are not a fan of crowds, you are encouraged to come a little later in the day, as this is a well-attended event with lots of people there to buy. Of course, coming late in the day may have an impact on products still available. That's a decision you'll have to make.
The Fair has set aside a quiet area on the arena floor level if you need some down time alone or with your little ones.
And finally, make sure to get a little something special for yourself, too!
