Mama Bear and Cubs Roaming Grant Creek Neighborhood

A mama bear and her two cubs have left some people feeling uneasy after being spotted from The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and up Grant Creek Road.

Some families say they've seen more property damage this year than in year's past.

In one social network post, a picture shows a screen door that was apparently ripped by a bear in the Grant Creek area.  The post claimed the residents were cooking a roast, opened the door for air and that's when the bear came calling.

Other homes in the area have also seen the inquisitive visitors.

People are being reminded to remove things from their property that might attract bears......not leaving garbage out, putting away pet food and bird feeders and picking up any fruit left from fruit trees in the yard.
