Kelly Clarkson’s Ex Husband Aims to Be Montana Rancher

Here in Montana, there is a saying when it comes to making money. "If you want to make a million dollars, you got to start off with $2 million." It is not easy making money in Montana. Especially if you want to make money working the land and raising cattle. It is a back breaking job that takes tons of blood, sweat and tears. But, ranching should be easy when you got money bulging out of your wallet and a talented ex wife dishing out big bucks every month in spousal support.

Singer Kelly Clarkson and her husband Brandon Blackstock are currently involved in a very messy divorce. The couple have two children, 7-year-old daughter River Rose and 5-year-old son Remington. Last year the family bought a ranch here in Montana. The ranch became the family's spot to wait out the pandemic. After spending much of 2020 on the ranch, Kelly and Brandon started to grow apart. The back and forth from LA to MT began to wear on the couple.

The “Since U Been Gone” singer will have to pay Blackstock $150,000 per month in spousal support and an additional $45,601 per month in child support for the benefit of their two children. 

Additionally, the documents reveal that Blackstock has given up his career as an entertainment manager and is pursuing a full-time career as a rancher on his Montana property.

With that kind of monthly income, it should be no problem running the ranch and keeping the cattle and the kids happy.
