Everybody is having to get creative as we get into graduation season this year. It's been a wild ride recently for the class of 2020. Everybody has memories of their senior year - but tales from this year's graduating seniors will be pretty original when they're told to their kids years from now.

Graduation plans are still being shaped into form while we continue to loosen the restrictions from COVID-19. There have been some pretty cool stories across the country recently about how schools are holding their ceremonies. Of course, virtual celebrations are an option, but some places are really getting creative. One of my favorite examples is an old drive-in theater where students and their immediate family get to be together in a vehicle and see their name presented on the movie screen. Another one is in Florida where they're holding graduation on the track at the Daytona International Speedway. Students get their diplomas as they cross the finish line and then get to take a lap around the race track.

Oh, don't forget the digital yearbook and on-air presentation we're doing with our multiple radio stations! Just send us a photo, name, and points of recognition for a 2020 grad in Missoula so we can spotlight their achievement. Details are HERE.

But, here's another way you can show your support for the class of 2020. Join Southgate Mall for their Caps & Cars Grad Parade on June 5th. The info below can also be found on the Facebook event page HERE.

Class of 2020, join us for our first ever Caps & Cars Grad Parade on June 5! We realize it's been an interesting and often challenging school year, so we feel an extra special celebration is in order. Graduates and families are encouraged to decorate their cars to show school spirit and Missoula pride. The parade will start in the parking lot adjacent to Brooks Street and make a loop around the property.

During the parade there will be a special spot where friends, family, and classmates can snap a photo or video or just celebrate in a small group their special moment in time.

There is no fee to participate. Additional details to come...
