Montana native and Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament is giving fans a rare look into his personal archives with a brand-new photography book arriving this fall.

Unveiling Since Forever: A Visual Journey

Titled Since Forever, the hardcover book will be released on September 25, 2026, and features more than 250 black-and-white photographs taken by Ament over the years. Many of the images have never been published before and are accompanied by his own observations, stories, and reflections.

The collection spans everything from life on the road and in the studio with Pearl Jam to personal moments and the people and places that have inspired him over the years. Ament has teamed with his brother Barry, an acclaimed designer, who inspired this project. According to Ament,

If there was a goal, it was mostly to save the failing 30 year old negatives. It was Barry’s idea to make a book.

What Is Since Forever?

Ament recently shared a video on Instagram explaining the project. He also says that about 90 percent of the photographs have never been seen before.

Ament's Commitment to Montana: Beyond Music and Photography

While Ament continues making music and now publishing photography, he hasn't slowed down when it comes to giving back to the Big Sky state.

Building Community: Ament's Skatepark Initiatives in Montana

His longtime passion for building skateparks across Montana continues to make a difference. The recently opened skatepark in Philipsburg is the latest example, and work is also underway on a new skatepark in Lame Deer for the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. Those projects are part of Ament's decades-long commitment to creating safe places for young people to skate throughout Montana.

He is also playing music with his side project P.E.S.T., who played Zootown Fest this year, and will be opening for Dead Pioneers in select Canadian cities this October.
