No, this oracle is not some gypsy or spirit medium. It is a cartoon television show that has been on for over 30 years. Of course, I am talking about the iconic cartoon family "The Simpsons."

For years now, people have noticed that the cartoon has made some pretty interesting predictions that came true. Bits from cartoons that aired years ago are now resurfacing after they accurately depicted an event that took place years after it aired.

For example, some fans believe that "The Simpsons" predicted:

Montana made national news this week after a circus elephant got loose before a performance in Butte. The giant pachyderm casually strolled through traffic on the busiest street in town, before being wrangled and taken back to the circus.

It appears that an episode of "The Simpsons" that aired 30 years ago may have predicted the future yet again. In an episode from March 31st, 1994 called "Bart Gets an Elephant," Bart's new pet "Stampy" escapes the Simpson's backyard and takes a troll through Springfield.

Looks familiar doesn't it? Did the might oracle do it again? Did "The Simpsons" predict an elephant escape in Butte? Even though the episode doesnt reference Butte or Montana, scenes from the episode do look oddly familar.
