There's no doubt about it - 2020 has been a dumpster fire of a year. Right now we would be starting to zero in on the big game between the Griz and Bobcats. But just because there's no Brawl of the Wild this year doesn't mean that bragging rights aren't on the line between the Griz and the Cats, and the communities of Missoula and Bozeman. The annual food drive competition will still take place this year. So get ready to help Can the Cats November 6-20!

In 2019, the Missoula community raised a grand total of 421,859 collective food & funds for our local Food Bank! Help us nourish our friends & neighbors experiencing food insecurity in our community this year and help us CAN the MSU Bobcats off the field!

The holidays will present an additional challenge to many that have been affected by the pandemic this year. All donations will help stock the Missoula Food Bank and the University of Montana Food Pantry. Everything collected stays local! There's a number of ways you can help - by filling a bag and dropping off donations, hosting a food drive, making an online or cash donation, and sharing the word on social media. Get more info about events and how to donate HERE.

Here's the info that's been posted to the Can The Cats event page on Facebook:

Are you craving competition?! The Annual Can the Cats Canned Food Drive is coming up Nov. 6-20th and we need YOUR help to beat the MSU Bobcats in this friendly, off-field, food drive competition!

This year is so different. Our local Food Bank is serving more people than ever before and families are utilizing our emergency food services for the very first time. Since the start of the pandemic, most of our major food drives have been cancelled this year so far. Now, more than ever before, we are counting on our community to put food on the tables of our friends & neighbors and out raise the Bobcats in this important food drive competition.
