Hey, just be thankful I didn't post this last week when you were about to sit down to turkey dinner!

AP tells us that a food company in Finland will be selling insect bread. They claim it's a first. And I would have to believe a last. But who knows? The Fazer Group bakeries say that one loaf contains about 70 crickets, all ground up and put into the flour.

The question of course, after your done gagging, is why bother? Seventy crickets is about three percent of the bread's weight. The only answers we could get were that Finns love to try new things. And test groups claim to like the good taste and freshness.

The country's lawmakers made it legal to allow the sale of insects as food earlier this month. A slice of heaven or utter Helsinki? You can decide starting Friday if you happen to be in Finland.
