Have you had to do jury duty during the last year? I've been called in as a potential juror, but have never been selected to serve on a jury. Of course any time you renew your plates, you move to the front of the line for jury duty, so I got a summons this week. It's different than before though, court isn't at the Missoula Courthouse, it's at a hotel downtown, I had no idea they were doing court there. It came with the regular questionnaire to determine your fitness to serve on a jury, but now the summons also contains a list of defendants who might be in court the day you were selected to possibly serve. You have to go through and say if you know any of the defendants, I've never seen anything like it, but the pandemic has made everything weird.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind serving on a jury, I love public service and I'm intrigued by the innerworkings of the court system. I know most people try to get out of jury duty any way they can, but I'm down for it. Because I'm in the media, I probably won't ever get chosen though.

Have you ever served on a jury? Was it interesting or just a big pain in the butt? Were you on a jury during the pandemic, if so, how did it go?
