Here’s What Will Replace One of Missoula’s Favorite Breakfast Spots
Over the last few years, Missoula has lost a lot of its favorite businesses - some had to shut down due to lack of supplies and employees post-COVID, others couldn't keep up with rising rent costs, and still others were just deciding it was time to call it a day after years of becoming a staple of the community.
And one of the most heartbreaking of those losses had to have been the Hob Nob, a favorite breakfast spot in downtown Missoula for over twenty years. The Hob Nob was always packed thanks to its prime location on Higgins and its incredible food - I may or may not still have dreams of their banana bread french toast.
The Hob Nob shut down for good back in November, and since then, their space on Higgins has remained empty... but nothing stays empty for long around here. And now we've got an idea of what we can expect to see in the Hob Nob's old spot.
A New Dispensary Is Opening Up in the Hob Nob's Old Location
With the new rules in place that allows recreational marijuana to be legal in Montana, Missoula has seen an influx of new dispensaries arriving in town, and it appears one is getting ready to set up shop where the Hob Nob used to be. The Missoulian reports that a company called Mountain Heights recently got a business license for the location.
No word on when exactly we'll see the new dispensary open up, but in the meantime, you've got tons of other dispensary options to choose from - it feels like they're quickly overtaking breweries as the thing people will joke about how many Missoula has.
