One of the first things my wife did with the kiddos when we moved to town last fall was to check out the Historical Museum's Fall Harvest & Apple Day.  She ended up meeting somebody that is now one of her good friends.  You just never know how things will play out.

The HMFM will host the annual festival on Sunday (9/22.)  Check out the apple press for fresh cider, fall crafts, food trucks and more.

Admission is FREE but a donation of a non-perishable food item is suggested.

I love this time of year.  There is so much to do around Missoula when it comes to fall activities!  If you're interested in the Historical Museum's Fall Harvest & Apple Day you can visit their Facebook event page HERE!

Details from the event page are below.

Join HMFM for our annual fall festival! Try your hand at cider making with our old fashioned apple press. Visit the Hayes Homestead Cabin to find out what people did in the autumn to prepare for winter. We will also have tours of all of the other buildings, fall themed crafts, and food trucks so you can buy some lunch while you're here.
Free Admission but we ask you bring a non-perishable food item for the Missoula Food Bank & Community Center. Thank you!

More details to follow as plans progress. If you'd like to volunteer, or you're a food vendor interested in coming out, or a non-profit who would like to host an activity, contact Kristjana - keyjolfsson@missoulacounty.us.
