Today is the first official day of winter, but based on the weather, you'd think Missoula already hit that mark a couple of weeks ago. We've had a good amount of snow over these last few days... but hey, that's something Missoulians know how to deal with.

Case in point: this hilarious tweet from @abi_jean which perfectly sums up Missoula in a nutshell.

Missoula is the kind of city where people will line up to get ice cream from Big Dipper in the middle on January. It's the kind of city where the beagle guy converts his bike into a sleigh and drives around dressed as Santa. It's the kind of city where the community can come together to bring back an annual tradition like the Santa Flyover to the delight of families everywhere.

And it's absolutely the kind of city where people are going to wear their Chacos, no matter the weather. Hey, those shoes are expensive - may as well get as much use out of them as you can!

We're looking at a white Christmas in Missoula this year, so if you get a pair of Chacos in your stocking, don't wait until the summer - they're good for any occasion!

Stay safe out there this year and have a great holiday season! This is my last post of the year, so I'll be back right at the beginning of 2022... possibly wearing Chacos, that is TBD.
