Help Lolo School Go to DC

The Lolo middle schoolers have a fund raising program going on right now that they hope gets them to Washington DC.  They’re in Mr. Johnson’s Social Studies class and their trip to DC will be arranged and coordinated by Close Up. It’s a non-profit group with the connections and experience to provide students with a fun learning adventure to  help them  explore the links between history and the rights and responsibilities of citizens today.

Dylan Hinds is the student in Mr. Johnson’s class that brought this trip to our attention on the Craig & Al Morning Show. We interviewed Dylan and he said everyone is very excited to get to go. He’s been doing chores and other fund raising efforts to get enough money for the trip. After talking with us the local Optimists Club donated money to Dylan’s class.
