Hamilton Players Lets ’12 Angry Men’ Take Over the Stage
The jury room drama "12 Angry Men" is opening Friday, August 17, at the Hamilton Playhouse. The show, originally telecast on network TV years ago, was turned into a popular movie and then brought to the New York stage. The action takes place in the jury room of a murder trail as the 12 members discuss the case, with one of the jurors unsure of the testimony. Tempers flare as the arguments become personal and the jury finally reaches its conclusion.
The Hamilton Players production, directed by denise rose, will be Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. The show will be on stage for three weekends, August 17-19, August 24-26 and August 31-September 2. Tickets are available online at the Hamilton Players website. The box office at the playhouse is open Wednesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
