Hamilton Legion Saluted Those ‘Who Gave All’
The Hamilton American Legion Post 47 held three Memorial Day Ceremonies early on Monday, May 27. The first memorial was an 8 a.m. laying of a wreath at the World War One Doughboy statue at the Ravalli County Museum lawn, followed by a 21-gun salute and playing of Taps. The Post members then held a ceremony at the West Main bridge for those lost at sea and one more remembrance at the G.A.R. monument in the Riverview Cemetery. The post also had a float in the Corvallis American Legion Post 91 Memorial Day Parade at 10 a.m.
