Clans from all over will be gathering at the Daly Mansion grounds in Hamilton Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 16-18. The 10th anniversary of the games has brought some extra fun this year. Friday night, the Harp Twins and TopHouse will have a free musical meeting at the music tent on the Daly Mansion lawn. They will share stories, answer questions from the audience and, of course, play some music. It starts at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, August 17, is filled with activities from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., including Highland and Irish Dance competition, sanctioned athletic events, Pipe bands, Clan booths, vendors, lots of food, local craft beer and mead, Scotch and Irish Whiskey tastings, herd dog demonstrations, live music, and a Saturday evening concert at 7 p.m. with the group Swagger. Sunday, August 18, the kids get a chance to try out some of the athletic competition and all the booths and music will again be filling the area from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. And, a special afternoon Tea in the mansion.

Admission is $15 for the whole weekend, or $10 for Saturday and $8 For Sunday. For the Military, $8 Saturday $5 on Sunday. Parking is the same as last year. The parking lot at nearby Hamilton High School is where you leave your car and take a free ride on a shuttle bus over to the Gathering. There is VERY limited parking at the Mansion. For more details, check their website.

It's going to be a grand time. You might even see some skillet tossing. (see photo below)
