The Hamilton High School Broncs and Lady Broncs didn't have much rest after two really draining games Thursday evening, but they prevailed in contests Friday, February 1, against Polson. Hamilton Broncs played an early game at Polson because of a scheduling conflict at that gym. They won the game 68 to 47 over the Polson Pirates. Then, they hopped on the bus and made it back to Hamilton in time to watch the Lady Broncs against the Lady Pirates at Dale Berry Court.

The scoring was much lower in the girls' game, but the Lady Broncs led the entire way. After one period, they had 5 points to zero for Polson and at the half, Hamilton led 16 to 4. The scoring picked up in the third quarter and starting the fourth, Hamilton led 25 to 11. The final score was Hamilton Lady Broncs 42 Polson Lady Pirates 13. Stevensville will host Hamilton next week - the Broncs visit Tuesday and the Lady Broncs will be in Stevensville Thursday, with both games starting at about 7:15 p.m. and both games on KLYQ. The final regular season games will be next Saturday, February 9, starting at 4 p.m. as the Dillon Beavers come to Hamilton, with the girls at 4 p.m., followed by the boys at about 5:30 p.m. Those games will also be on the air. Remember, we have the games at 1240 AM, at www.klyq.com and on that free KLYQ cellphone app. Support the Broncs and Lady Broncs!
