Former Grizzly QB Brent Pease has a new job. Florida has hired Boise State's Brent Pease as its offensive coordinator. It’s reportedly a three-year deal worth a little more than $500,000. Pease also had an interview scheduled with Alabama. Pease played Quarterback for the Grizzlies. Pease began his coaching career while still playing in the World League as an offensive assistant coach at Montana, in the fall of 1991. He spent five seasons in that capacity, coaching quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers. In 1995, the Grizzlies won the NCAA 1-AA title and quarterback Dave Dickenson, tutored by Pease, received the Walter Payton Award and earned Big Sky Conference MVP honors. In 2006, Pease became wide receivers coach at Boise State, adding the title of assistant head coach the following year.
