Because of you-know-what, University of Montana Grizzly Hoop Summer Camps have had to move to a virtual platform.

But hopefully your resilient basketball-loving tykes can still learn some fundamentals and have some fun doing it. Due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, Montana Basketball has once again been forced to change its 2020 summer camp schedule. The Grizzlies will now host a series of virtual camps over Zoom.

The camps are open to kids in grades kindergarten through sixth and will feature skill development and instruction from Griz head coach Travis DeCuire, his staff and student-athletes, with real-time feedback and individual attention.

Camps will be held across three weeks: August 3-5, August 10-12 and August 17-19. Registration cost is only $20 per session, or  just $50 for the full three-day week. It will only be about a one-hour time commitment for the participants each day, tentatively set for 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Instruction will be provided over Zoom. All participants really need is a basketball, a small place to dribble and some cones or other objects, such as water bottles, set up strategically as recommended by the instructors.
You can learn more about the format and/or get the kids the kids signed up for Coach DeCuire's camps here.
