Got Any Vintage Video Games In Great Shape? Cha-Ching! Maybe
Way back in my day it was me lamenting mom throwing out my boxes of baseball cards. Hopefully you took better care of your video games.
AP tells us that a guy in Reno found an unopened copy of the 1998 video game Kid Icarus by Nintendo in the attic of his boyhood home. The item went for $38.95 through a catalog store. So, he figures he might as well put it up for bid during an online auction, thinking he could snag a few hundred bucks with a little luck.
But a video game expert with the online auction firm says it could sell for up to $10,000! Just like some of my vintage baseball cards, no doubt. :-) Yeah, I know, we all say that. Well, whatever the amount ends up being, the man says he will split the proceeds with his sister. We wish them top dollar!
