No, you didn't sleep through opening day. But if you applied, next week's a biggie for you. With the March 15th deadline to apply for 2012 deer and elk permits, you'll know the drawing results the week of April 16th (next week). These will be the first big game hunting permit drawing results of the year.  You'll want to check "Drawing Status" with FWP and you'll need your ALS number. And keep in mind that the deadline to apply for moose, bighorn sheep, bison and mountain goat licenses available through a drawing is May 1st. I don't know if the mega millions jackpot or the bighorn sheep license is tougher odds. Anyway folks, good luck. Hope you get your tags. DB
