Fun Pictures of Missoula’s Snowy Monday Morning
What happened? We lost 20 degrees from Sunday to Monday and saw our sunny weekend weather turn to a morning of snow and ice. I know it wasn't quite summer weather yet - but we had friends over on Saturday and it was so nice out that the kids were running through the sprinkler in the backyard! That seemed like a distant memory when I was scraping the ice and snow off of my vehicle before coming into work this morning.
It seems like winter was having a rough time accepting the fact that we're all ready for sunshine and nicer temps - and it had to make one final bit of noise on its way out. The good news is that it appears we've seen the "last hurrah" for winter weather until the fall. I guess that's the part that makes a snowy morning kind of fun and bearable.....knowing it won't last and that there's sunshine and warm weather in the immediate future.
I'm guessing you saw plenty of snowy pictures on social media today - and maybe even posted one of your own. Here's a few of my favorites that were posted from around Missoula this morning.
We're about a month away from the beginning of the Missoula PaddleHeads season on May 22. That means we have 31 days for warmer weather to blow in before we play ball.
Who needs a refrigerator when you have nature's fridge standing by to keep your beverages cold?
I didn't play the same course.....but I played golf on Saturday.....and I was thinking the same things today.
Ha! That sounds about right. Get the deck furniture out for the spring and here comes the snow!
The Bitterroot saw quite a bit more snow than Missoula. Thank goodness this should be our last snow adventure until the fall.
