This has become such a hot-button issue and I know many of you have kids in sports and you have  concerns. Here's a great way to learn more.

I got a call from J.C. Weida, an athletic trainer at The University of Montana. He wanted everyone to know about a free presentation this Monday, May 7th: How to Deal With Concussion and Return to Play. The event is free and open to the public in the Big Sky High School Auditorium. The intinerary includes:

5:00---INFORMATION TABLES FOR PRODUCTS RELATED TO CONCUSSION

5:30---KEYNOTE SPEAKER CASEY FITZSIMMONS: "MY FOOTBALL CAREER AND CONCUSSIONS." Casey was an NAIA All-America for Carroll College and played 7 years in the NFL with Detroit.

6:00---CONCUSSION OVERVIEW, SCENARIOS AND PANEL DISCUSSIONS

These will feature a number of doctors, physical therapists and atheltic trainers. Wow, what an amazing educational resource you'll have at no cost! If this is of importance to you, I hope you can attend.  DB
