The mild late-summer weather probably still has you thinking about hitting campsites and enjoying the great Montana outdoors.

And things should be just fine for a while longer, but with fall approaching, it is good to know if any of your favorite sites in the Bitterroot Valley might be calling it good for the season. While complete closures don't apply to too many of these, we have attached a pretty comprehensive schedule from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. If you see a site that interests you and there is a reservation requirement, the recreation.gov website is pretty handy.
