The University of Montana Grizzlies got everything they wanted and then some from the South Dakota Coyotes. But the Coyotes had no answer for Griz receiver/return man Ellis Henderson, who was the man of the hour in Montana's 31-27 win in Vermillion SD. Henderson caught two touchdown passes, including a 70-yarder from an uncharacteristically struggling Jordan Johnson---three interceptions including one returned for a touchdown and another in the South Dakota end zone---and returned a kickoff nearly 100 yards with less than two minutes to play after South Dakota had taken a 27-24 lead. The Griz tied the game when linebacker Jordan Tripp stripped the ball from a Coyote running back and South Dakota native Matt Hermanson scooped it up and ran in for a touchdown. But the Coyotes came back with their only points of the second half on a field goal. The ensuing kickoff went to Henderson and away he went! Henderson totaled over 300 yards in receptions and kick returns. What a performance!  And away go the Griz at 8-2 on the season. See you at Washington Grizzly Stadium vs. Weber State Saturday the 16th! DB
