Dean Strang of ‘Making a Murderer’ Coming to Missoula
Many know him from the hit Netflix show ‘Making A Murderer,’ working on the counsel of Steven Avery. He’s also the author of “Worse than the Devil: Anarchists, Clarence Darrow and Justice in a Time of Terror.” UM Productions Marketing Coordinator Chanelle Paakkonen says Wisconsin Attorney Dean Strang is set to present at the Dennison Theatre on Friday, October 7.
"The conversation will begin at 8 p.m. and will center around many of the implications of Steve Avery's case featured in the Netflix documentary 'Making a Murderer' as well as the systemic failures in the criminal justice system," Paakkonen said. "He worked five years as Wisconsin's first federal defender, is a shareholder in three of the state's leading criminal defense firms and co-founded StrangBradley, LLC. He's an adjunct professor at Marquette University Law School, the University of Wisconsin Law School and University of Wisconsin's Division of Continuing Studies."
Tickets cost $25 for the general public and $15 for UM students with a valid Griz Card. Tickets are on sale now at all GrizTix locations.
