Can You Major in Beer at College?

Engineering degree? Nah. Physics? Get serious? How about law? Forget about it! Central Michigan University announces its new "fermentation science" program. The courses will feature classroom and lab work, along with hands-on training for making beer. The facilities seem top-notch. Classes (and huge enrollment increases, no doubt) will start next year so there's still time to apply. Well, like the northwest, the craft beer industry in Michigan is booming and students will have a chance to make suds while the sun is shining! Cheers, DB
