It was a plan that worked pretty well for the Missoula PaddleHeads all last summer - offer up some entertainment while practicing social distancing. Centerfield Cinema, Trivia Night and Happy Hour events were successful because of so few other activities that existed for people looking to get out of the house during the pandemic.

There hasn't been much happening in the way of outdoor entertainment since the winter weather rolled in. But spring is so close we can almost reach out and touch it - and that means we'll start to see more and more things on the schedule. The bummer news right now is that any sort of event with a crowd is still going to have social distancing as part of the requirement. But judging by the components of this one.....beer, fire, and S'mores.....I'm guessing it should be another success. Get ready for Brews n' Bonfires at Caras Park on March 27.

"Feeling thirsty and craving a socially distanced event? Brews n’ Bonfires is for you! Grab up to six of your favorite people, grab some growlers, and enjoy a safe, socially distanced outing.

Make a reservation ahead of time for up to 6 people and bring your own growler – in fact, bring as many growlers as you want! The first growler is free (with a fire pit reservation) with additional growler fills at $15. S’more packages can be purchased for $12. Make sure you bring your own growlers (and reusable cups), but if you forget or want another…special edition Downtown growlers and vintage Roots Fest cups will be for sale!"

Getting outside with a few friends and some beverages.....and throw in some food trucks.....it sounds like a pretty sweet way to spend a Saturday if you ask me!

Brews n' Bonfires will run from 12 PM - 7:30 PM and you can purchase tickets for one of the following options: 12 PM - 1:30 PM | 2 PM - 3:30 PM | 4 PM - 5:30 PM | 6 PM - 7:30 PM.
