Beyond being one of my favorite actors, this documentary showed what a caring and hilarious man Chris Farley was. As I was flipping through the channels on Monday night I noticed Spike TV was airing for the first time ever the documentary 'I Am Chris Farley'. I instantly started recording and watching it and I am so glad I did.

Chris Farley was more than an actor for me growing up, he was an idol. I was very over weight as a kid and Chris Farley made that acceptable. It was just nice to see that in a world based on looks, this "fat guy" could be the cool kid, have lots of friends, and make people laugh.

In the documentary it explained everything from Chris playing football and rugby, to getting suspended from school for showing too much of his body while inside a classroom. This man had a true appetite for life!

I highly suggest you watch this documentary if you see it on TV. It even brought Bob Saget to tears when talking about his friend, and the loss we all felt when he left this earth too soon.
