Best 9/11 Documentaries And Movies Now Streaming

With the anniversary of 9/11 quickly approaching, I wanted to make sure that I personally took the time to watch and really understand what our country went through that morning in September. Here is what is playing, who is streaming it, and what you can expect from them.

Hulu: 9/11: One Day in America. Featuring interviews with not only survivors but also with first responders. This is a five-part series that looks at how the devastating events of 9/11 unfolded.

Apple Tv+: 9/11: Inside the President's War Room. This film is available to stream for free ON September 11th, if you are not a subscriber. This film takes a look into the 12 hours after the attack on the World Trade Center. You will be able to see over 200 unseen pictures, plus interviews and statements from President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice, and Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Netflix: Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror. This is an in-depth look at who attacked the U.S. and why, and some mistakes that were made. You will hear from retired CIA officers, military veterans, survivors, Afghan government members, and many more. I have personally watched this one, and let me tell you, it is VERY interesting.

Discovery+: Rebuilding Hope: The Children of 9/11. This series focuses on four children who were born after their fathers had died on 9/11.

History Channel: 9/11: The Legacy. You can hear from children who were impacted by September 11. This one-hour doc looks at the lives of young people two decades later. Over 3000 children lost their parents on that day.

History Channel: 9/11: I Was There: This two-hour documentary features footage from people in New York Who took their personal cameras and started documenting their reactions and fears, that day and weeks after.
