Bar Raises Drinking Age on Weekends

In an unusual move a neighborhood bar in Brooklyn has raised the drinking age on weekends. Phil’s Crummy Corner says no one under 25 will be allowed in Friday and Saturday nights.  Phil’s is a bar featuring Latino food and has a very loyal following. It’s been getting complaints from the neighbors about young people leaving the bar at closing time and making lots of noise. The bar did some checking and found out most of the problems were being caused by “novices” when it comes to adult beverages. I checked them out  Facebook and foursquare, looks like a pretty neat bar. I’d love to try some of their Puerto Rican food.
