Another Reason To Be Proud Of Your Team!

So, only 7 out of 333 NCAA Division 1 women's basketball teams can claim they made the 2011 NCAA tournament AND made the 2011 Women's B-Ball Coaches Association Academic top 25 honor roll. I bet you can guess where this is going.

Congratualtions to the University of Montana Lady Griz basketball team for being one of those 7 teams! The Lady Griz went to the Big Dance and maintained a team GPA of 3.411. Head coach Robin Selvig said he's been blessed with serious students and serious basketball and he was escpecially proud of this team's outstanding academic year. The other "Sweet 7" were

DePaul, South Dakota State, Bowling Green, Dayton, Hartford and Wisconsin-Green Bay. Gotta love those Lady Griz!!!!!  DB
